Rochdale Feel Good Festival 2024
As the Rochdale Folk Festivals had ended, due to lack of funding, it was good to see that the organisers of the Rochdale 'Feel Good Festival' 2024 provided a free afternoon of folk music programmed by Sound Roots.
Guests included Ríoghnach Connolly & Honeyfeet, international party band Marvara, Séamus Óg Trio and a preview of Sean Cooney’s (The Young'uns) new Rochdale-made musical Peter’s Field, where Sean was joined on stage by Eliza Carthy MBE and Sam Carter with the MC Dave Sweetmore.
